3D Design: Tuning Parts for the BMW M8 Gran Coupe!

From Japan from the tuner 3D Design we are currently receiving the first pictures of new carbon aerodynamic components for the BMW M8 Gran Coupe (F93). And the components are not just presented at the beginning of the year M850i or shown a little later 8 Series Cabriolet copied, no, they have their own design. Of course, the look is relatively similar and typically 3D design, discreet, but there are definitely differences, especially with regard to the front apron and the built-in diffuser kit. All components are made of carbon (CFRP) and with regard to the front apron attachment, we even like the version of 3D design for the M8 Gran Coupe best. The attachment is a mix of the front spoiler of the mentioned 3D design M850i and the 3D design 8 series convertible. It gives the front a little more dynamism without being obtrusive.

On the other hand, the carbon fiber approaches for the side skirts are visually almost unchanged and the diffuser comes pretty close to that of the 3D design M850i & Convertible. The variant on the M8 Gran Coupe is, in our opinion, the most inconspicuous of all. For the elegant four-door, however, exactly the right decision in our opinion. On the other hand, we don't see any difference in the carbon spoiler lip for the tailgate, which is already quite restrained and looks good on all three. Incidentally, the photo vehicle also received a set of in-house forged wheels. The classic silver painted aluminum wheel is likely to be of the Anniversary 01 type. The aluminum rim is installed in combination with a subtle lowering (further details are missing) in the dimensions 21 inches.

And as always, the Japanese have a few accessories ready for the interior. There is a sports steering wheel with aluminum shift paddles for all series of the 8-Series (alternatively also made of carbon) or a new aluminum pedal set. Depending on the vehicle model, other components such as various carbon applications for the cabin, sports exhaust systems and even chip tuning performance enhancements are available using so-called booster chips. Which models are suitable for what can be seen on the 3D Design website, which is also available in English. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
