The BMW i4 is deliberately designed to be quite inconspicuous ex works. BMW probably didn't want the i4 to be too different from the "normal" 4 Series Gran Coupe. This prevents customers from being scared off by radical EV designs. The downside, you could say the i4 looks a bit "boring" because of that. However, as an i4 owner, there are now a few ways to change the "problem". If you want to give the i4 a little more pep, you can now do so with a new aerodynamic kit from 3D Design. And as always, the 3D design of a body kit is not only chic, it is also made from the highest quality materials and fits perfectly. Currently, however, the only 3D design parts for the i4 are optical aero parts.

So there are no chassis components available yet, but according to the website, 3D Design is already working on their development. However, the vehicle from the pictures was changed in this regard. It was namely lowered by approx. 15 mm, which may result in a Sport springs by a third party or due to prototype undercarriage parts. Incidentally, the i4 in the pictures is the rear-wheel drive eDrive40 model. He wears the color Brooklyn Gray, one of the currently most popular BMW paint finishes and all parts of the body kit are covered with a 2×2 carbon structure and a glossy finish. Parts available from 3D Design include a front spoiler (splitter), side skirts, rear diffuser and a subtle one rear spoiler.

In the interior, however, there are currently only 3D design floor mats and a new set of aluminum pedals. The normally installed aluminumshift paddles are of course not possible with the i4, as it has no gears to shift. While the i4 is not exactly the most exciting one from the factory, the high-quality 3D design body kit makes it a real eye-catcher, in our opinion. The beauty of the components is also that they are not overdone and match the look of the vehicle. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
