Wide -> wider -> Lumma could have been the motto for the tuner from Winterlingen when it came to designing a wide body kit for the brand new BMW X6. Lumma calls this creation CLR X 6 R and should be pretty much the first tuner that has something in its range for the X6 (which has only been around since this month). In the coming spring there will be the first live pictures which we will of course show here.

The X6 already has considerable external dimensions ex works and is one of the fattest SUVs on the market, especially in terms of width and height. But Lumma pushes it to the limit and installs a wide body kit on this monster that drives the width of the Munich man to an unbelievable 2,08 m - probably noticed, without exterior mirrors. Visually it makes a big impression, of course, but according to the STVO, overtaking on a 2m lane is no longer possible, not to mention looking for a parking space in the city.
We don't even have to mention the off-road capability, as deep as the X6 is now, off-road driving becomes impossible. A mighty diffuser was installed at the rear and it is still unclear whether the 4-pipe exhaust is really there. The new bonnet made of carbon has three exhaust air openings, because the increased performance (series X6 variant 50i with 4,4 liter V8 petrol engine - 450 PS, 9,7 liters consumption) to a brute 590 PS requires enough fresh air and space to return it to get rid of.
The performance is achieved by a modified software of the engine, richer turbochargers and a new sports exhaust system. If you wish, you can stand out with the X6 like the proverbial "colorful dog". The finest leather inside is equipped with colorful stitching, also on the back. Incidentally, Lumma has built in extra sporty individual seats for the rear passengers. The splash of paint has not left its mark on the outside and on the wheels either.
We like the white version somehow better, and a black would be (for us) the optimum. If you have 190.000 € over, you can have the color requests from 2015 by Lumma realized.
