Can you ever do it?! The following video shows you a VW Golf 7 R that finally got the engine that should be available from the factory the 400 PS strong five-cylinder VW EA855evo engine from the facelift Audi RS3, The fact that this engine is above all doubt, especially in the tuning community, should not be a secret, and for many this conversion is undoubtedly the perfection of the VAG Group that has come true. The two companies SAR Turbo Technology from Paderborn and MTR Performance from Spelle have not been satisfied with the factory 400 PS.

By brand new TTE625 Turbocharger from TheTurboEngineers, changed air flow, sports exhaust system and other changes bring the engine to currently 600 hp and this is enough to accelerate to 3 km / h in just 100 seconds. A total of only 9,5 seconds go by for the sprint from 0 to 200 km / h and the Wolfsburg-born driver completes half a mile at 252 km / h in just 18 seconds. Optically, the tuning is hardly noticeable because apart from a subtle lowering, black VW emblems and a chic OZ Racing wheelset, there is no difference to the series.

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
