Last Friday, RENNtech presented a Mercedes-Benz AMG GTs on its homepage that received a subtle carbon body kit and an R1 Performance Package performance increase on 611PS & 840NM. The RENNtech has several variants for the V8 biturbo to increase the performance in stock, at the latest since the 726PS variant that we already had at the beginning of February this year imagined. Not quite as extreme, but still significantly modified, the current vehicle, as already mentioned, delivers impressive 611 PS and 840 NM torque and all of this without having to revise the turbocharger or make further extensive modifications to the engine. A chip tuning, downpipes with 200 cell catalytic converters, BOV - Blow-Off Valve Adapters and a high-flow sports air filter are sufficient for the jump in performance.

Lightweight Carbon Bodykit

In addition, there was a subtle carbon body kit consisting of a front splitter, carbon air inlets, side skirts and a striking diffuser at the rear. Unfortunately, we don't know at the moment whether the 10-spoke alloy wheels installed here also come from RENNtech, but the new wheelset looks very good on the GTS because the large spacing between the spokes gives a view of the AMG brake system with its red brake calipers enables. The GTS also seems to have received a subtle lowering, but unfortunately we do not know what was installed for this. If we get even more information about further modifications made to the AMG GT, there is of course, as always, an update for this post. • Lowering (sports springs, coil springs, sports suspension, coilovers, Airride air suspension, with standard air suspension possibly by adjusting the electronics - more information is not available)
• RENNtech Carbon front splitter, side skirts, diffuser
• darkened / tinted windows
• Performance increase on 611PS & 840NM - (R1 Performance Package - Chiptuning, downpipes with 200 cell catalysts, BOV | Blow-Off Valve Adapters, high-flow sports air filter)
• possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
