TIKT has once again cut one out! On the past Food Motor Show 2018 the tuner presented the TIKT AMG GTR1 at the Hankook stand, which was based on the new Mercedes-AMG GT R. And of course the performance of the 4,0-liter V8 has been significantly increased. From the factory 585 PS & 700 NM it goes up to 700 PS and 750 Nm. The in-house downpipes including sports catalysts and of course chip tuning and improved cooling make it possible. And the chassis has also been completely changed. A Bilstein MDS2 by TIKT Performance is now installed, which was recently developed as a GTR1 chassis in cooperation with the chassis specialists. And of course there is the new forged wheel set. Here, too, you can fall back on the in-house repertoire and install lightweight 19 & 20 inch TIKT RR-1 forged wheels in Y-spoke design and equip them with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

But the absolute highlight of the conversion is the in-house carbon body components. You can see a huge carbon front splitter with an adjustable middle section, which provides more contact pressure on the front axle. There is a carbon air collector that better directs the wind to the radiator behind it and also the carbon hood with Naca air intakes on the left and right causes a similar effect. The factory Panamericana radiator grille is now the emblem of the tuner and especially for the motor show there was a cool Teilfolierung in orange with lots of small accents. At the rear, there is a large carbon rear wing that generates more downforce and stands on specially milled feet.

To ensure that the part is still in place beyond the 300 km / h, reinforcements were installed in the rear of the tailgate. There is also a new carbon cover including air collector. And this, of course, has a function. It is part of the cooling system for the transmission and the differential. In the rear there is therefore a carbon box that is equipped with two large oil coolers and to fan three fans additional fresh air. And finally, something happened in the interior as well. Tikt installs a Clubsport roll bar made of steel and a cross made of carbon and some other small carbon details. Blatant part!
