Crazy BMW 8er Coupé (E31) from Ireland with Tesla engine!

The drive unit of the Tesla Model S, which incidentally is located in the rear of the car, generates befitting its status 392 PSwhich are present immediately after the start. The torque is unimaginable 1505 Newton meters. There is an additional one under the bow 16 kWh battery an Opel Ampera, and the power is transmitted via a One step automatic with a 9.8: 1 ratio. Only the rear wheels are still driven. It's hard to believe at first, but the engine swap made the 8th easier and, according to the tuner, should also be more agile. Thanks to the gigantic torque that is still available immediately after take-off, the car should be an absolute killer on the quarter mile. Unfortunately, the range of the prototype, which is still in the development phase, is so far on 80 km limited.

A brave project that will make many BMW fans turn up their noses. However, we are curious to see what will become of this vehicle and whether a larger battery will find its way into the car so that it can be driven in everyday life.
