The two-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine of the Mercedes-AMG A 35 4MATIC provides an excellent basis for even more driving pleasure. In the BRABUS development department, two performance upgrades were created, which elicit even more power from the engine without compromising everyday usability and stability. The BRABUS PowerXtra B 35 tuning kit, which gives the supercharged four-valve to 32 kW / 44 PS more top performance and torque to 60 Nm, consists of the BRABUS PowerXtra module, which is installed in plug-and-play technology. It supplies the engine electronics with high-performance maps for controlling injection and ignition and increases the boost pressure. This results in 257 kW / 350 PS and a maximum torque of 460 Nm.

If you want even more top performance, say 268 kW / 365 PS at 6 300 rpm, you can use the BRABUS PowerXtra + B 35 S tuning. The additional control unit is then joined by the aerodynamically optimized BRABUS high-performance rear silencer. The stainless steel sport exhaust not only optimizes the power delivery, but also offers a fascinating range of acoustics between discreet and excitingly sporty thanks to its integrated sound management. The silencer can be combined with either the standard tailpipes of the A 35 or with four, optionally available, stainless steel / carbon tailpipe trims in the characteristic BRABUS design. These tailpipes, which are designed to be included in the standard apron, are also available separately to owners of an A 35 who do not want engine tuning.

In conjunction with the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which can be switched even more precisely with the BRABUS RACE aluminum shift paddles on the steering wheel, and the 4MATIC four-wheel drive, the power compact car accelerates like a thoroughbred sports car with the BRABUS PowerXtra + B 35 S Performance Upgrade Only 4,4 seconds will reach Tempo 100. The maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h. The look of the BRABUS-refined Mercedes-AMG A 35 4MATIC is just as sporty: The BRABUS designers have developed an aerodynamic program that is produced in OEM quality from high-quality PUR. The two-piece BRABUS front spoiler is designed to be fixed to the left and right of the lower part of the standard apron. The sideways raised flaps help to further reduce buoyancy at high speeds at the front axle.
Side air inlets on the front bumper
In order to optimally direct the airstream into the side air inlets on the front bumper, there are the two BRABUS elements, which are mounted above the horizontal webs of the side vents. The BRABUS rear wing on the roof, which replaces the standard rear spoiler, ensures optimum aerodynamic balance and an even more exciting rear view. In addition, the exclusive BRABUS look is even more excitingly accentuated by the BRABUS monoblock alloy wheels. The show car at the IAA 2019 is equipped all around with the decidedly sporty styled BRABUS Monoblock T in the dimension 8.5Jx19. For this vehicle, the wheels were painted glossy black to match the bodywork, which brings out the sporty carbon design elements that are integrated into the five spokes, to best advantage. The matching high-performance tires are supplied by BRABUS technology partner Pirelli with the P Zero in the format 235 / 35 ZR 19. Of course, BRABUS also offers numerous refinement options for the interior of the Mercedes-AMG A 35.
BRABUS Mastik leather and fine Alcantara
Stainless steel door sills with illuminated BRABUS logo are just as much a part of the program as BRABUS aluminum pedals or high-quality velor floor protectors with BRABUS logo. The in-house saddlery meets special requests for the interior with a BRABUS fine leather interior, which is matched exactly to the customer's taste in color and upholstery design. For this purpose, extremely soft, yet extremely durable BRABUS Mastik leather and fine Alcantara are processed with the utmost precision in practically every conceivable color.
