If it is a bit more extreme then you are definitely in good hands with JDEngineering, from the Netherlands. Recently the tuner presented us with an almost 1.000NM strong Audi SQ5 3.0TDI and also the 671PS Audi RS6 C7 Avant wasn't that long ago. But the current project easily overshadows both of the above in relation to the starting point. The company had a SEAT Leon Cupra R on site that received more than just a subtle increase in performance. Unfortunately we cannot say exactly whether it is a Leon with AMK or BAM four-cylinder. But if we assume that it is the newer one, with the BAM engine code, then the starting point was 225PS and 280NM torque. But there is almost nothing left of the starting point because the tuner built in a fat Garrett gtx3071r turbocharger and also reworked almost the entire engine. With 2,2 bar boost pressure, the relatively small, 1,8l engine now delivers extreme 521PS & 571NM torque.

But the whole thing is even more impressive when the boost pressure is increased to 3,0 bar, if this is the case, the 20-valve engine sends a crazy 621PS and 769NM torque to all four wheels! Although the company does not provide any new acceleration values, it can be assumed that the 100 km / h mark should drop in well below 5 seconds and the top speed depends only on the gear ratio because the Cupra should be able to easily do it turn last gear into the limiter. Unfortunately, we haven't received a lot of information about the vehicle at the moment, apparently a set of OZ aluminum rims was installed and the red brake calipers indicate that the braking system has also been adjusted to the performance. If we get more information about other modifications to the Cupra R, there is of course, as always, an update for this post. • possibly OZ alloy wheels in dark gray
• Brake system revised
• darkened / tinted windows
• Performance increase - (Garrett GTX3071R, JDEngineering custom software, 2.2 bar: 521PS & 571Nm and with 3.0 bar: 621PS & 769Nm, RON102 fuel)
• possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
