Fat can hardly do it! VW Eos R36 from KTS bodywork technology

If you look at the VW EOS in series production, it's somehow no wonder that VW has pulled the emergency brake and stops production. Not that the car is ugly, but that certain something that it needs in this class is missing from the Wolfsburg. However, Dany Nussbaumer saw potential in the open VW and makes the car, thanks to the tuning specialists from KTS Karosserietechnik, an absolute eye-catcher. The highlight is of course the completely changed front that the Wolfsburg got. There are no more bulging-eyed headlights and the smiling radiator grille of the EOS has luckily gone. They were replaced by the front of the VW Scirocco R. The effort behind such an enormous conversion certainly does not have to be explained at this point because just put the headlights out, put new ones in, and the same thing again with the bumper is of course not in the beginning .

As spectacular as the new front is, at least as spectacular is the new rear end of the Eos. Here are the far too large tail lights of the EOS rausgeflogen and were replaced by which of the Golf VI R. Obviously this affects not only the taillights but also the complete bumper including centrally placed sports exhaust system which now decorates the rear of the Eos. That in such a complex conversion, of course, the chassis or the rims not remain in the standard state should be understood by itself. A lowering was installed by means of HP-Drivetech chassis including Accuair control. In addition, there was a chic set Vossen Wheels VFS2 type, however, in June 2016 has already been replaced. One more -> Since we have repeatedly reported on the vehicle we would like to apologize for the following, somewhat confused, update scenario of our article 😀

(Photos: Project Eos R36)

We tell you the facts we know about the VW EOS R36. The effort, the effort and the "unmistakable" detail work, however, we cannot write down:

  • Base: 2009er model VW Eos
  • Front modification: Scirocco R
  • Golf VI R-stern
  • extreme widening of the wheel arches by 5 centimeters on each side
  • gray paint from Lamborghini
  • Lowering HP-Drivetech including Accuair control (installation through dumped suspension)
  • new drive shafts from K-Custom
  • Bull-X sports exhaust system

By the way, the car is not finished yet, but is such a car ever finished? 🙂

Many thanks to Dany Nussbaumer
