And erneut has become the British tuner Chelsea Truck Company (Subsidiary of Kahn Design) made a Land Rover Defender 2.2 TDCI 110 Utility Wagon. The team around the owner Afzal Kahn also carried out a complete conversion this time, which means that both the exterior body and the interior are completely refined. Painted in Volcanic gray & black, there was also the extensive Kahn BodyKit. Among other things, this includes an X-Lander front grille, flared fenders all around with exposed screw connections, a bonnet with power dome, new bumpers including LED lighting in front and rear, as well as massive step strips for easier entry.

This copy also has a sturdy roof construction as well as a small ladder and a full spare wheel with Chelsea cover on the rear door. The wheel arches are filled with our own black Mondial alloy wheels in 20 inches (9 × 20) and the brake calipers are subtly painted. In addition, the chassis has been replaced by an in-house with a discreet lift and improved dampers. The soundscape of the 2.2 TDCI has not changed acoustically, but optically there is a crosshair sport exhaust system which completes the optical appearance impressively. And as already mentioned, the interior is completely new.

And so worries Kahn design For beautiful GTB sports seats in front and missed the back seat, as well as all conceivable visible places, an elegant black leather cover with contrasting white seams. Countless small details such as the beautiful steering wheel, the Churchill clock, the new speedometer / tachometer, the high-quality door sills or the aluminum pedals visualize the attention to details of the tuner and make the interior unique. And technically, something has been done because in addition to the already mentioned LED lights outside, there was also a rear view camera and an improved sound system.

That such a rebuild of course has its price goes without saying and so it is not surprising that at least 60.000 £ will be due for this copy.
