Undoubtedly, not everyone thought the Lamborghini Countach was beautiful, but the sharpest wedge in the history of human development was definitely extremely impressive. If you had a Countach in a car quartet, you didn't have to fear opponents. The Countach was somehow a car from another world. And especially the penultimate series of the Countach as LP5000S Quattrovalvole was a trump card. The Countach 5000 Quattrovalvole is a facelift model, the first version of which appeared without side skirts. From 1985 to 1988, only 610 copies of the QV were built. It received 5.167 cc and a Bosch K-Jetronic injection system. The engine output rose to 309 kW (420 hp) and as LP5000S QV 25 Anniversary even to 455 hp and 500 NM torque. The V12 has four valves per cylinder (therefore: Quattro Valvole) and visually the bonnet was slightly curved outwards.

Since the V12 built larger, this was necessary. And with the QV Countach, the Lambo came to the United States for the first time. He was recognizable by the large bumpers prescribed there. And such a rare specimen was now a guest of the Canepa team for a small tuning cure. The order was to refine the cabin and completely restore the vehicle. And with regard to the cabin, the request is perfectly understandable. While the striking appearance and the phenomenal key data have always characterized a Lamborghini, the cheap and sometimes miserable workmanship in the interior also came along until the takeover of Audi. And that also applied to the Lamborghini Countach 5000 (LP5000S QV). However, Canepa took care of the problem and, after a complete restoration, fitted the vehicle from 1986 with an individual cabin according to customer requirements.

white leather & Canepa-green Alcantara

The in-house upholstery shop wrapped the entire passenger compartment in white leather, which was contrasted with green Alcantara accents. The seats, the door panels, the headlining and the lower part of the dashboard are covered in white leather. In contrast, the upper part of the dashboard is covered with green Alcantara. This gives the otherwise standard model an individual touch that brings a significantly higher standard than the series, particularly in terms of workmanship. Cool thing! If we receive timely information about further changes to the LP5000S QV, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
