For many, however, the "only" 11 PS compared to the predecessor are not enough and so it is clear that the M3 / M4 will become the target of tuners of all kinds. BMS-RACING GmbH has now developed a tuning box that is supposed to elicit up to 500 hp from the charged three-liter in-line six-cylinder.

By adding E85 fuel and adjusting some parameters such as turbo pressure etc., even performance data up to 540PS / 780Nm should be possible. The boost pressure is increased to 1,93 bar. With less boost pressure, the M3 still achieved a proud 510PS / 691Nm torque. BMS is convinced that the engine has enormous potential and can generate significantly more power. Intercooler, turbocharger and exhaust system were completely standard at BMS.
