The off-road specialists delta4x4 from Upper Bavaria are planning to revive a rally icon and bring motorsport history back to the present. A brand new Porsche 911 is supposed to drive to Dakar again. The Porsche 911 stands like no other model for motorsport. Deeper, wider, faster, it is successful on all racetracks in the world. This cult has been cultivated and preserved since 1963 with ever better and faster models. But the 911 also has a successful rally history. In the 80s, the rear-engined athletes celebrated great victories at the legendary "Dakar" and the Pharaohs rally. The specially converted 911- 4 × 4 derivatives 953 and 959 also performed tremendously on sand and gravel.

This is the interface between myth and the present. The off-road specialist delta4x4 not only fulfills unusual customer requests, it also maintains a long rally tradition. Managing Director Maximilian Loder: "A team from delta1982x4 took part in the 4th Paris-Dakar Rally back in 4. Boldly with a Suzuki LJ80, which at least produced 80 HP through engine tuning. Our car reached the beach of Dakar after 13.000 km. We are still proud of this today.“And this tradition is constantly being continued with new and extraordinary projects. The latest idea: the wish of a young entrepreneur from Ulm to drive a road trip to Dakar from his Swabian homeland in his brand new Porsche 911, type 992 Carrera 4S. The customer not only wants to accelerate on the highway, but also want to deliver top performance off the paved roads.

Next year, this extraordinary customer request from delta4x4 is to be realized.
