The Porsche 917 racing car has made history. The year 1969 at the Geneva Motor Show was already a year later, the overall victory in the 24-hour race at Le Mans in the bag. At that time, the 917er was still powered by an air-cooled twelve-cylinder mid-engine (3-liter six-cylinder boxer from the 930er with modifications from the 911 Carrera RSR Turbo 2.1) in the year 1969 with a displacement of 4,5 liters still 383 KW (520 PS) at 8000 / min sent to the rear wheels. But only 4 years later, the engine got rich turbocharged and then made impressive 810 kW (1100 PS) at 7800 / min.

At the end of its era, the 917er Porsche was one of the most successful racing cars of the 1970er years. And on this very 917er is the fully-lined Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport (991) from Skepple Wraphic Design recall. The gallery at the bottom shows you one of only 200 built GT2 RS with an absolutely unmistakable look. It is supposed to represent the 917-021 with a Martini Racing chassis from 1970 and it has been ensured that the look is realistically "worn out".
