Can you still to the virtually converted Singer Porsche 911 Speedster from Jonsibal recall? We found a very real copy that was created on the basis of a Porsche 911 Targa 3.2 from 1989 and comes very close to the virtual conversion. The team at DP Motorsport In Overath (near Cologne) absolutely wanted to get a 911 Speedster up and running in the original look of the 1989, which of course never came out of the factory. The 911 Porsche 3.2 Targa 90 lived its life from the beginning in the USA and was converted into a Speedster with a typical Speedster hood behind the seats at the end of the 11s. Then the vehicle came to Germany where the DP team donated the so-called “F-model body kit dpXNUMXF - Carrera-Widebody”.

That means classic 1972 F-Style optics (from 1973 the 11 series had higher and beefier bumpers) in combination with one inch wider wheel arches and a slightly lower front apron. There are also filigree side skirts and two-pipe rear silencers that have been perfectly adapted to the new rear apron. All of this is covered with a Nardo gray paintwork and classic Porsche lettering on the sides. The wheel arches are well filled with 245 slippers on black 16-inch aluminum rims and everything is underpinned by a rich performance plus. The standard 218 hp of the 3,2 liter boxer are history because thanks to Schrick camshafts, large throttle valve, manifold and meticulous tuning on the test bench, the engine now pushes a beefy 5 hp to the rear wheels via the 50-speed G260 gearbox.

But that wasn't it yet because the renovation should continue in the coming winter. Phase 3 sees a Clubsport coilover kit from which can be adjusted separately in terms of height, tension and compression KW suspension before that in combination with PU bearings of the company Super Pro Suspension Parts should be installed. If we get the first information about the planned changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
