Actually, you could start pondering when a tuning company from Bangkok is working on a Porsche Cayman S 987. Fortunately, these are the guys from Autowerks Bangkok and they already have one Porsche 991.2 C4S 3.0L bi-turbo, a Techart 911 (991.1) Carrera or even one 991 Carrera 4S refined. In this regard, all doubts should be dispelled! So let's take a look at the current project based on a 2007 Cayman S 3.4L. If you follow our magazine carefully, you shouldn't have missed the fact that we already talked about the 2016 in 987 have reported. But now there was an extensive upgrade! Already last year there was a lowering for the Cayman S by means of KW Competition coilovers and also a significant increase in performance on 350 PS.

At that time, a roll cage, Recaro racing seats and a much slimmed-down interior were used to reduce weight. New are now the black TWS Forged Wheels alloy wheels including their race-track-compatible tires through which one can catch a glimpse of the Brembo GT brake system with its 6 piston system on the front and striking yellow painted calipers. The absolute highlight, however, is definitely the poisonous green 911 (991) GT3 RS paint which was applied after the car was completely disassembled inside and out. It provides a completely new look and one would like to think the penalty has suddenly become 10 years younger. Also, the almost completely empty interior of the Cayman is painted in body color and in conjunction with an Alcantara dashboard, as well as the Recaro bucket seats and the roll cage, and many other small changes, the racing modifications could not be better.

In our eyes it is Porsche Cayman S Track Car Project the most spectacular vehicle so far that we have seen from Autowerks Bangkok. We hope that there will be a video of the green monster soon and as soon as this is the case you will of course be the first to see it. If we get more information about the modifications, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
