Elegant and with steam - RENNtech Aston Martin Vantage!

A few years ago, Aston Martin reissued the entry-level V8 Vantage. With the 510 PS AMG engine (M177) from the C63 AMG from Mercedes and a rather aggressive design directly from the factory and without any special equipment. Visually, it is based on the DB10 and convinces with a throaty grille and the rear has also changed significantly. Here, a modern light strip adorns the shape of the spoiler and there was also an angular rear apron with a powerful diffuser and a newly designed trunk lid. And the V8 Vantage comes, as already mentioned, with the four-liter V8 biturbo from the Mercedes C63s AMG with 510 PS and impressive 685 Nm torque. Coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission, it sprints from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3,6 seconds and only ends at 314 km / h. Considering only 1530 kilograms a real announcement.

Performance software & downpipes

And what could be more obvious for the Mercedes tuner RENNtech and to modify the engine in the Vantage? After all, there has been a significant increase in performance for the C63 AMG for years at the start. The self-appointed industry leader in the field of Mercedes-AMG Performance Tuning has not only available a performance upgrade for the Aston Martin Vantage. Yes, one after the other! The engine is optimized with RENNtech's ECU performance software (Chip tuning for the BOSCH engine control unit) including stainless steel downpipes and 200-cell catalytic converter and thus helps the British to upgrade from 85 PS and 120 NM. That means, from now on impressive 875 NM torque and 615 HP provide propulsion. Attention: the difference is due to a higher series output from the photo vehicle that already delivered 530 hp from the factory. And visually there is a clear difference compared to the series. The vehicle from the pictures has a three-part RENNtech carbon rear spoiler installed and the carbon front canards also come from RENNtech.

Vossen Wheels forged wheel set

In our opinion, the visual highlight is clearly the Vossen Wheels forged wheel set. The elegant rim with star in dark gray and rim base in copper sits perfectly in the wheel arch thanks to a fully adjustable coilover kit and thus underlines the dynamic lines of the Vantage. Incidentally, RENNtech points out that the AMG M177 V8 can easily generate over 750 PS, which the tuner has already proven with various C63s and an AMG GT S. So a further performance potential for the Aston Martin range should not be ruled out. By the way: YouTuber "Speedracer38" tested an Aston Martin Vantage tuned by RENNtech. The result is in the video. If we receive information on further changes in a timely manner, there will of course be an update for this report.
