Perfection - Singer Porsche 911 Oregon in dark green

And once again Singer Vehicle Design's a fully restored Porsche 911 as completed. The project is called "Anglet Commission Oregon" and, according to Singer, was awarded for a "real gentleman " made. Absolute restraint shows the 911er already in the paint dress. Here there are no bright colors and eye-catching lettering but pure restraint in perfection. The 911 was painted in an elegant olive green based on the classic 911 colors and this was definitely a good decision. So a little bit the paint is probably a mixture of the former Irishgreen (6406), Goldgreen (6828) and some Ferngreen (273).

As is well known, Singer manufactures all vehicles to the last detail on customer request and unfortunately, in the past, this also often meant that a perfect finish was a completely unsuccessful shade. Not so with this copy. One has also waived on eye-catching body details such as the optionally available fender flares all around or the often installed active rear spoiler. Everything is designed for understatement and should score with restraint in the most convincing series appearance. And that's exactly what the 911er does.

Nevertheless, the owner does not have to do without innumerable Singer details. For example, contemporary headlamps with lens technology are just as much a part of a conversion as a sports suspension in combination with a classic retro-style wheelset in 17 inch and Michelin Sport tires (215 / 45 ZR 17). If you look closely, you can see through the small openings in the rims and a large modern brake system with silver painted calipers that ensures befitting deceleration and ABS system.

And especially the interior is once again an absolute feast for the eyes and impresses with its handmade leather bucket seats, a unique steering wheel and a dashboard with five large round instruments and retro dials that are a modern interpretation of the classic vintage 911 dashboard. Many parts were covered with brown and black leather and an absolute highlight is also the spartan but super noble rear seat with the two individual seats molded into the body.

The finest hand-sewn leather has even been installed under the front hood and even the engine compartment of the flawless, air-cooled 4 liter six-cylinder boxer engine is partly lined with leather. It goes without saying that this copy could of course only be created in combination with a high six-figure amount and should have been the smallest problem. The result is once again absolutely unique from Singer Vehicle Design's that is not to be surpassed in perfection.
