That, the Japanese tuner DAMD from the Suzuki Jimny one on request Defender or a Mini G-Class was already known to us. Shortly after the official presentation of the small off-roader, the idea was spread online with a few virtual pictures. But now there are 2 more variants that we have never heard of from any other company. DAMD Tuning now converts the Jimny to the 2020 Ford Bronco (more precisely to the "Dronco") or resurrect the Jimny LJ10 from the seventies. And this time, too, the result was really successful. Let's start with the Ford Bronco variant: The main features here are based on a modified radiator grille and a new apron at the front and rear.

The rest are rather subtle modifications, but in the end they actually turn the Jimny into a small Bronco. (Update) Since 2023 there has even been patch fender flares, which cause a stir in the Bronco (Dronco) variant and are significantly wider than the sheet metal wheel arches of the series.

The side part still has a few decorative strips embellished and small round taillights are installed on the rear apron. If you want, you get one more Presenters to be able to reach the roof of the Jimny Dronco in combination with a roof rack. Incidentally, the exhibition vehicle has a classic style two-tone painted. The body is essentially light blue and the aprons, the grille, the old school rims, the roof and the ladder shine in noble white. And then there was that Jimny LJ10 variant, Here, too, the body parts of the Jimny mentioned above have been replaced and the main difference compared to the Bronco conversion is the redesigned radiator grille.

The side strips and the ladder at the rear, however, are missing and the paintwork uses exactly the same combination that was also available on the Suzuki Jimny LJ10 back then. Namely the color yellow in combination with white. While the body was painted yellow, the aprons and the rear part of the roof are set off in white.

By the way, we really like both variants and in conjunction with the conversion to the Land Rover Defender and the G look of the large G-Class, the Japanese tuner DAMD, as far as we know, currently has the largest repertoire of modifications for the Jimny on offer. If we receive information about further changes in a timely manner, there will of course be an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribed. Have fun looking at the pictures and stay true to us! (Photos: Dam tuning)
