Alpina

Alpina Burkard Bovensiepen GmbH + Co. KG was founded on 01. January 1965 founded in Buchloe by Burkard Bovensiepen. The seat of the company is still there today. Already from the beginning, Alpina was in the tuning and motorsport area for BMW employed. In 1978, the decision was made to also produce normal passenger cars based on BMW AG vehicles. Alpina now employs 250 people and produces around 2700 cars a year. The most important markets besides Germany are the Middle East, Great Britain and Japan. What is special about Alpina's autotuning are the modified engine, the brakes, the chassis changes and the interior fittings. The components are now assembled directly in the respective BMW plant. The finished vehicle is then passed on to Alpina for vehicle handover. In motorsport, the company no longer has its own factory team, but there are still a few BMW ALPINA B6 GT3s with different teams. Alpina offers an individualized experience based on the elegant and powerful BMW vehicles. In 2022 Alpina was taken over by BMW. There is more about the company alpina-automobiles.com.
