Airstream Inc.

The Company Airstream Inc. is an American manufacturer of caravans and especially large-capacity caravans. The models Flying Cloud, Cruisette, Wanderer, Bubble, Clipper, Tradewind, Overlander and Globetrotter are known from the past and even in this country some of the great monsters can be moved. For example the Airstream 534 International, single-axle vehicle with 4 beds and a full wet room. In addition, the Airstream 604 International tandem-axle and the Airstream 684 International tandem-axle, both of which have a bathroom with a separate shower cubicle. The idea for the vehicles came from Wally Byam in the 1930s, who also founded the Airstream Manufacturing Company and built a prototype out of aluminum. The caravans were nicknamed "silver rocket" or "Silberling" and were occasionally built almost unchanged until the 1960s. Since 2006 there have even been campers specially developed for Europe with a 230-volt network. Since 2010 Airstream has also had food trucks in its range based on the Airstream 534 and Airstream 684.
