Ascari Cars Ltd.

Ascari Cars Ltd. was a manufacturer of sports and racing cars from England. The company was founded in 1995 in Dorset by the Dutch entrepreneur and racing driver Klaas Zwart. The company was deliberately named after the racing legend Alberto Ascari. He was the first ever two-time world automobile champion. From 1998, the Ascari Ecosse sports car was sold in limited numbers. Other vehicles were the Ascari KZ1, the Ascari A10 and the Ascari A410 (KZ2). However, vehicle production was stopped around 2009. Ascari Cars Ltd. currently in Banbury, England. As Circuito Ascari SL, Ascari operates a race track (Circuito Ascari) with racing, karting, off-road facilities, a club house and various facilities in Ronda in southern Spain, including a “Race Resort”.
