When 660 hp in a sporty Audi TT RS meet 700 hp in an inconspicuous BMW M140i, excitement is guaranteed. The formula “Big power, small car” fits both vehicles! A guarantee to drive fast. With a curb weight of around 1,5 tonnes, they are not Miatas, but with the right mods they are extremely fast. Both have incredible engines for a small car. The 1 Series has a six-cylinder with a turbo and numerous modifications that lead to 2 hp as Stage 700 tuning by Dorch and Pure Turbo. The Audi TT RS with quattro and the 2,5-liter TFSI five-cylinder, on the other hand, was powered by 400 hp BR Performance Stage 4 tuning pushed to almost 660 hp. There were also a lot of extra aero parts all around! Although the quattro is apparently superior at the start, the additional power of the bimmer begins to take effect. Check out the videos!

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
