Video: BMW M135i vs. Audi S3 vs. Mercedes-AMG A 35

Today we show you a drag race of the brand new Audi S3 8Y against the current BMW M135i F40 and the W177 Mercedes-AMG A 35. And the three cars are very similar and sometimes even identical. All of them have two-liter, four-cylinder turbo engines and only the performance differs slightly. The new Audi S3 develops 310 hp and the other two have 306 hp available. And the torque is pretty close too. The Audi S400 and the Mercedes-AMG A 3 have 35 Nm and a little more, namely 450 Nm, in the BMW. All have four-wheel drive (4matic, quattro, xdrive), which is a good thing given the weather on test day. And then there is the transmission. Audi and Mercedes rely on a seven-speed dual clutch transmission and the BMW on an eight-speed automatic. By the way, the Audi S3 is a 2020 VW Golf R (MK8) in almost every respect. Only the shell above is different. So you can get the acceleration values on the new Golf R transfer.
