This tuned Audi S8 (Type D4, 2012-2017) has more power than the S8 Type D5, which has been built as its successor since 2019. It combines all the advantages of a luxury cruiser with a timeless look and at the same time has more than enough power. Built by the Dutch tuning company JD engineering there were a number of mechanical improvements and of course in-house chip tuning. The result is 702 hp (712 hp / 524 kW) and a maximum torque of 931 Nm (687 lb-ft). That is enough to complete the sprint to 100 km / h in just 3,6 seconds and reach a top speed of 295 km / h. The series takes 4,2 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited to 250 km / h. This is made possible by the 520 PS (382 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) torque that the 4,0-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine makes available ex works.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
