Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro and 595 Monster Energy Yamaha

Abarth presents two breathtaking special series - the exclusive Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro and the adrenaline-charged Abarth 595 Monster Energy Yamaha. Together they embody the two souls of the brand and its basic values: tradition and driving pleasure. The Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro is sold in a limited edition of just 2.000 copies and pays homage to the exclusive A112 Abarth "Targa Oro", which fans simply call the "Gold Ring". This truly exclusive car, of which only 1979 models were produced in 150, is cult: all models are painted black, have gold details, a refined interior and offer a wide range of equipment features that are simply part of an Italian Gran Turismo. The second novelty is the special Abarth 595 Monster Energy Yamaha special series. It is the perfect expression of the connection between the Abarth and Yamaha brands and their values - based on performance, successful motorsport, innovative technology and driving pleasure.

This strong partnership, which began in 2015, overcomes sport and racing barriers by “taking to the road” with many adrenaline-charged special series - with the Abarth 595 Yamaha Factory Racing Edition (2015), the two-seater Abarth 695 Biposto Yamaha Factory Racing Edition (2015) and finally with the Abarth 695 XSR Yamaha (2017). Today the baton is passed on to the new Abarth 2.000 Monster Energy Yamaha, limited to 595 units. The joint journey of the two dynamic companies now gets an additional "burst of energy" through the cooperation with the well-known energy drink Monster: Monster also shares the love for motorsport and the associated emotionality.

The exclusive Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro is the perfect combination of lifestyle and performance. It is specially designed for those who are looking for comfort, refined details and a high-performance car for everyday use. Under its bonnet, 121 kW (165 PS) ensure tremendous forward thrust. The power-to-weight ratio of 6,5 kg / hp and - as a result - the acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in a breathtaking 7,3 seconds is impressive. The 1.4 liter T-Jet engine is coupled with a mechanical gearbox, but can be equipped with a robotized Abarth gearbox with paddle shifters if required. Its enormous power delivery is seamlessly combined with an unmistakable and unique appearance - the car is a clear homage to the famous A112 Abarth "Gold Ring" from 1979, better known as the A112 Abarth "Targa Oro": Its special features were the black paintwork decorative golden body details and the light alloy wheels painted in shiny gold color. The few vehicles that still exist from the “Targa Oro” are very popular with collectors today - and the Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro is guaranteed to be a classic of the brand.

Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro special series

The special Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro special series is strictly limited. This can be recognized by the numbered gold plate in the interior. In addition, this brand new vehicle offers additional exclusive content and details: The black paintwork stands out on the outside - but the vehicle is also available in Podio Blue, Gara White and Record Gray on request. The matt black checkerboard pattern on the roof goes perfectly with handles, mirror caps, front and rear spoilers in matt gray. In order to explore the style boundaries and emphasize its coolness, this new special series contains golden details in the bodywork, such as the scorpion on the bonnet - and the 17-inch alloy wheels are also gold-colored. But you can also order them in black. Then a golden scorpion adorns the hub cap.

Sports seats with "Scorpion monogram"

The interior also shows the same exclusive character: the sports seats with “Scorpion Monogram” and black leather applications around the seat and the backrest made of technical fabric are real eye-catchers. Of course, they also ensure optimal support; in addition to the Italian flag, the embroidered “Scorpioneoro” lettering and Abarth embroidery also dominate the headrests on the front seats. The refined style of the new Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro is completed by the matt black dashboard, the gold badge on the center console and exclusive floor mats. To top it off, the Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro offers the best infotainment currently available: On the one hand, there is the 7 ″ HD UconnectTM-System with Apple CarPlay and Google Android AutoTM * - a fast multimedia platform with high-resolution monitor, GPS and DAB + digital radio. On the other hand, the sophisticated BeatsAudio ™ system with a total output of 480 watts and an 8-channel digital speaker ensures perfect sound. Its state-of-the-art equalization algorithm can reproduce the entire sound spectrum of a recording studio.

Abarth 595 Monster EnergyYamaha

The new Abarth 595 Monster Energy Yamaha special series is aimed primarily at young motorsport fans and offers - like all Abarth models - an exciting, exclusive product with ultra-high performance. The special series, limited to just 2.000 vehicles, is the result of the strong bond between the Abarth and Yamaha brands. This extraordinary partnership began in 2015 thanks to the shared values - optimum performance, successful motorsport, innovative technology and maximum driving pleasure.

The style concept for the special series was inspired by the paintwork of the YZR-M1 of the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP 2020 - after all, Abarth is now sponsoring the Japanese racing team in the motorcycle premier class for the fifth time. The new Abarth 595 Monster Energy Yamaha has a two-tone exterior paintwork in Scorpione Black and Podio Blue, but is also available “only” in Scorpione Black. The “Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP” logo is affixed to the underside of the body directly above the “595” symbol. The special series is rounded off by the monster “claw” on the bonnet. It symbolizes the new collaboration between the scorpion and the well-known energy drink. This additional “burst of energy” for the new special series emphasizes the sporty soul of the vehicle and the Abarth brand. The dark colors contrast with the matt gray surfaces, as can be seen in the door handles and in the front and rear spoilers.

Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro and 595 Monster Energy Yamaha

In the interior, the model has a limitation badge on the center tunnel and special Abarth sports seats with blue highlights and special surfaces, as well as the lettering "Monster Energy Yamaha" on the headrest. The blue elements on the dashboard stand out from the black primer - this is how the two-tone paintwork is also reflected in the interior. The vehicle is equipped with a 121 kW (165 PS) 1,4 T jet engine. If required, it can also be ordered with a robotic Abarth gearbox and paddle shifters.

In addition - typically Abarth - dynamism and driving pleasure come as standard. The vehicle was inspired by motorsport, visible features include the steering wheel with its flat bottom and the 12 o'clock mark. The latter is extremely useful when driving sports cars. The "Sport" button controls the maximum torque output, the calibration of the power steering system and the accelerator pedal as well as the sound of the Record Monza exhaust. The braking system developed by Abarth, with its ventilated discs with a diameter of 284 millimeters at the front and 240 millimeters at the rear, offers maximum safety even at the limit. The standard equipment also includes the Koni rear suspension with innovative FSD technology. Frequency Selective Damping optimizes the driving experience by ensuring even better road holding, more agile handling and maximum stability.

Last but not least, this series includes a special home screen that displays the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP logo on the screen.

The sedan of the 595 Monster Energy Yamaha is already available from € 23.872,60. The starting price for the convertible is € 26.407,06. The 595 Monster Energy Yamaha is available for leasing from € 219 per month.

The new communication campaign from the creative agency Independent Ideas

Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro and Abarth 595 Monster Energy Yamaha - two special models and two impressive campaigns: With this project, there is again an intensive collaboration with Independent Ideas. The agency designed two fascinating, modern films that link communication on digital platforms with “classic” formats. The exclusivity of the new Abarth 595 Scorpioneoro can be seen in the golden surfaces. They distinguish this special car and inspire the campaign concept: The new online video shows a contemporary version of the famous legend of King Midas, in which the languages of the ATL and the digital world are combined. In this way, a new narrative style is achieved and the Scorpioneoro is made the ultimate star. Visual effects such as GIFs, loops and wireframes are just a few of the techniques with which the audience can immerse themselves in an extraordinary world located between real life and virtual reality: everything that comes into contact with the Scorpio is changed there.

For its part, the new Abarth 595 Monster Energy Yamaha exceeds all known energy levels: The campaign shows a pure adrenaline rush in the typical Abarth style in a provocative and surprising online video. The goal of storytelling and visual implementation is to herald the arrival of a new and inexhaustible source of fun in the city. The film is intended to awaken the desire to actively enjoy the enormous performance and the driving pleasure that goes with it. Both projects are stylistically very different, but present Abarth vehicles for what they are: ultimate stars.
