ABT Bodykit & Vossen Alus on the 2019 Audi RS5-R Sportback

The guys from Tag Motorsports (Vista, United States) have set up an Audi RS5-R. However, this is not the two-door coupe, the basis this time is the brand new Sportback that we have never seen before with RS5-R ingredients from ABT Sportsline. And that has it's reason. The sporty GT RS5 as a five-door will finally be officially available from us next summer. Although you can order now, before mid 2019 is actually planned no delivery. Incidentally, the official premiere was at the 2018 New York International Auto Show. Anyway ... The result convinces on the whole line and especially the carbon aerodynamic package from ABT-Sportsline is an absolute eye-catcher also on the Sportback.

At the front there is an aggressive spoiler lip for the RS bumper and the carbon radiator grille with RS5-R lettering in red is of course installed. At the rear, the elegant sedan with the sporty rear diffuser of the RS5-R and the ABT silencer system with four carbon tailpipes with a diameter of 102 mm are also not missing. The sporty appearance is rounded off by a small carbon spoiler lip on the tailgate. Incidentally, the 21-inch ABT SPORT GR rims cannot be seen on this specimen. There were no less pretty 20 inch (20 × 11) Vossen Hybrid HF-3 rims in glossy black. Thanks to the subtle lowering of the seat, the wheelset and Michelin Pilot Sport tires fit perfectly in the wheel arch. However, we do not currently know how the lowering was achieved. ABT has a KW coilover kit with ABT sport stabilizers or optional coilover springs for the coupe.

It is very likely that one of these variants is installed here. And of course there have long been various performance enhancements for the 450 PS V6 with 2,9 liter displacement, which is also used in the Sportback. If you look at the ABT Sportsline shelf you will find an upgrade to 530 PS & 690 NM and thus the RS5 also goes to 3,6 km / h as a five-door in about 100 seconds. With this copy, TAG Motorsports is showing the first modified 2019 RS5 Sportback of the F5 C8 series) and we are curious to see whether there will be more information about the vehicle soon.   - 0 on 100 in about 3,6 seconds
• Lowering (possibly with KW coilover kit, ABT sport stabilizers, optional ABT coilover springs)
