"The most blatant Abt Audi RS6 + that we have ever built"

Can you still remember the legendary Jon Olsson Audi RS6 DTM Avant recall? It was officially the most powerful RS6 Avant with road approval and came with an incredible amount of carbon, a specially made body kit and a 1.000 hp V8 BiTurbo. And of course the typical Jon Olsson paintwork (foiling) in camouflage design could not be missing. The RS6 from the Swedish winter sports enthusiast caused a huge sensation beyond its home country. Unfortunately, the vehicle was stolen back then in the Netherlands and only a short time later found burning in a parking garage.

That you could not leave the country unnoticed with such a vehicle was well aware of the thieves and so you had to that of tuner Stertman Motorsport Dispose of converted vehicle apparently quickly. At that time, however, the RS6 was no longer owned by Jon Olsson but sold to a dealer in Amsterdam. But Jon apparently can't keep his hands off the RS6 and so he turned to ABT Sportsline to set up a new project. And according to Daniel Abt this is "The most blatant Abt Audi RS6 + you have ever built"! Clear the stage for the new Jon Olsson's ABT Audi RS6 + PROJECT PHOENIX.

Immediately the eye-catching FR ABT Sportsline alloy wheels in 21 inch with an attached ring with the design of the Formula E jumps. The part not only has an optical background but also improves the aerodynamic properties of the wheel. It is still a prototype by name ABT Aerorad but soon everyone may be able to order this style. The rings were still covered with a design chosen by Jon Olsson. Another noticeable feature is of course the complete black and white foiling of the vehicle, which was applied in three different layers on each side and is separated by a red stripe. Of course, the obligatory Skixbox from the manufacturer should not be missing 56 North which even has a diffuser and in combination with the foiling is probably an absolute unique piece.

The diffuser of the roof box is of course suitable for the ABT carbon rear diffuser on the vehicle. And where we are at the rear of course we would like to mention the completely darkened taillights, which of course in Monaco pose no problem but are not approved in this country by the German TÜV. The same applies to the completely black discs which are also not allowed in this country, especially in the front, but just look just great. As you can see, the vehicle is also lowered significantly and that is even a bit more extreme than the "Normal" ABT RS6 vehicles, And of course, the ABT performance enhancement may not be missing and so comes the eye-catching Avant with 735 PS V8 and an exorbitant loud sports exhaust system.

Even this will not meet with much approval from the German TÜV because basically it is only a continuous pipe from front to back that does not contain any silencers and thus gives the V8 a background noise that is probably absolutely unique. Visually, there were still a lot of small details like the ABT Sportsline Bodykit which consists of a front spoiler, new air inlets in the bumper, front flaps on the right and left of the bumper, fender inserts, rocker panels, roof spoiler and the aforementioned diffuser. In our opinion, the absolute highlight remains the aluminum rims with the foiled covers and the Michelin tires with tire stickers and we are pretty sure that a new trend will develop.

In this combination and especially with regard to the insanely loud sports exhaust system, the completely darkened windows or the tinted taillights, the RS6 + "Phoenix" from Jon Olsson will once again remain an absolute one-off and hopefully not experience such a tragic end as the DTM Avant . Of course, if we get more details about the changes, there will be, as always, an update for this report. • Roof box with diffuser and foliation
• Sport exhaust system made of stainless steel (tailpipes with carbon) without silencer
• ABT & RS6 + logos
• FR ABT Sportsline Alloy Wheels ABT Aerorad in 21 inch with attached ring from the formula E (including foiling)
• Vehicle wrapping all around (black and white in different colors)
• ABT coilover suspension (lowering the chassis of this vehicle to the limit)
