With ABT Power S to 4,9 km / h in 100 seconds: ABT Audi SQ5!

The Audi SQ5 and SQ5 Sportback are real sports cars among the SUVs and, thanks to their TDI engines, even score with low fuel consumption. In the course of a revision, the engine had recently lost a few horsepower, but this did not affect the sprint quality. In addition, ABT Sportsline is now offering a performance upgrade * that is impressive: thanks to ABT Power S, the 3,0 TDI now releases 347 HP (255 kW) and 700 Nm instead of 384 HP (282 kW) and 760 Nm. This is not only reflected in the performance data, but also ensures noticeably faster acceleration on the road: from 0 to 100 km / h it takes 4,9 instead of 5,1 seconds. This undercuts the psychologically important five-second mark. The high-tech control unit AEC (ABT Engine Control) constantly compares more than 25 parameters. Optimal use of power and ideal engine protection are the result.

Rear apron set as an eye catcher

Many road users are likely to see the SQ5 TDI, which has been upgraded by ABT Sportsline, primarily from behind. And it is precisely this perspective that is optically enhanced again. Upon request, customers of the world's largest tuner for vehicles from the Audi and VW groups can receive the ABT rear wing and the ABT rear apron set. Both are available exclusively for the SUV versions of the SQ5 and Q5 TFSI e (hybrid drive). The features of the set include a very special quartet: two ABT carbon twin tailpipe trims in 102 mm format. All other components are also available for the Sportback.

The vehicle height also influences the dynamic appearance. ABT Sportsline therefore offers coilover suspension springs for the SQ5 TDI with "steel chassis", which enable flexible lowering of 35 to 60 mm on both axles. With the Q5 TFSI e, also considered by ABT, the variable lowering is between 15 and 40 mm. Especially with SUVs that have a high center of gravity in terms of design, an upgrade of this type guarantees a clear plus in terms of handling. At the same time, the 21-inch light alloy rims of the ABT Sport HR glossy black type built into the photo vehicle come into their own in the wheel arches. Its sporty, elegant design in classic black sets the Audi SQ5 in the limelight. Thanks to its stability and its perfectly balanced weight, the rim also contributes to the agile and comfortable driving experience.

With the ABT GR and DR in 20 inches and the FR in 21 inches, further wheel creations for the SQ5 can be found in the ABT configurator. Also worth considering: the ABT door entry lighting, which projects the ABT logo onto the asphalt. If we get more information about the changes, there will of course be an update for this report.
