The ABT RS6 Legacy Edition (LE) is a limited edition of 200 units that serves as a tribute to two decades of RS6 history. ABT Sportsline developed the special model to inspire fans with a high-performance sports car with an impressive design and a high level of everyday usability. The RS8 Legacy Edition's V6 proves to be a worthy successor to the legendary model as it raises the bar for high-performance cars. The C6's original ten-cylinder configuration was downsized to eight cylinders by Audi to make the car more cornering and race-ready. The lighter V8 biturbo ensures lower consumption and an optimized axle load distribution, which has a strong influence on the lateral dynamics and makes the V8 a cornering specialist.

The ABT POWER R technology from ABT increases the standard performance of the RS6 performance (MKB: DYGA) from 463 kW (630 hp) to around 559 kW (760 hp) at 980 Nm. This is achieved with ABT turbochargers, ABT intercoolers and carbon front apron inserts including air inlet grilles with optimized airflow. The Legacy Edition is also compatible with the "myABT" app, which provides insight into performance data such as additional power, coolant and intake air temperature. Various Charisma settings such as ECO, SPORT or RACE can be accessed via Apple CarPlay in the MMI in order to adapt the performance characteristics to the fuel quality.

A striking feature of the ABT RS6-LE is the ABT carbon front hood insert integrated into the hood. The aerodynamic highlight not only improves the look, but also the heat dissipation of the performance-enhanced V8 bi-turbo engine. Of course, the vehicle passed all of the head impact tests required for the approval of the ABT carbon front hood insert. The extensive aerodynamics package also includes numerous visible carbon add-on parts such as a front lip, mirror cap attachments, side skirts, rear apron insert and a rear wing.

In the interior, ABT has refined the already high-quality interior of the RS6 with Dinamica soul for shift paddles, door sill covers, dashboard and seat frame covers. Characterized by its fine fiber composition, Dinamica has a flame-retardant, soft, suede-like surface that is protected from moisture and dirt by a Teflon coating. The ABT steering wheel is finished with high-quality Alcantara and a sporty 12 o'clock marking, which appears in a subtle red due to the perforated material.

Of course, every ABT steering wheel has all the sensors, analogous to the original Audi steering wheel. The limitation of the special model is clearly visible through the ABT logo in the headrest and the RS6-LE logo in the headrest of the front seats. And the RS6-LE logo is also embroidered on the ABT floor mats. Other individual adjustments in the interior of the ABT RS6 Legacy Edition are modified door entry lighting, a start-stop switch cap and a trunk mat in ABT design. The perfectly tuned chassis with ABT coilover suspension springs and ABT sport stabilizers on the front and rear axles ensures optimal power transmission to the road.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport tires in size 295/30 ZR22 on ABT HIGH PERFORMANCE IR22 forged wheels in glossy black also contribute to this. And the in-house ABT silencer system made of stainless steel, which ends in four ABT pipe covers with a diameter of 102 mm, ensures the right sound. It not only gives the vehicle an impressive look, but also an unmistakable sound that further underlines the sporty driving experience.
