Away from the series production Tuner Abt-Sportsline is still working on a unique piece based on the Audi A1 under the patronage of Daniel ABT. Under the project name "AUDI A1 - 1of1", a brutal widebody variant is to be created, very similar to our virtual one RS1 (A1 GB) quattro. Daniel ABT even speaks of the “greatest project ever”! The basis is the 40 TFSI top model with 200 PS & 320 Nm four-cylinder. But the engine flies OUT! The A1 is equipped with an Audi TT Cup engine which usually has between 310 and 340 PS and approx. 400 NM. But typically ABT should do more here. Approx. 400 hp are planned, which are extremely significant in view of the still existing front wheel drive. The new engine naturally includes countless details such as a modified water cooler, a new intercooler and also a stainless steel sports exhaust system with stylish carbon tailpipes.

It continues with 19 special large forged wheels, there is a completely modified brake system with 370 mm brake discs and large 6-piston front calipers and of course an adjustable coilover suspension. By the way, you change the body of the two-door and missed the A1 a huge rallycross carbon rear wing and a full carbon bonnet. And in the cabin is also a lot. As of today, the back seat was out, a cage was installed and everything was provided with fine leather, Alcantara and black lacquered applications. An Audi R8 sports steering wheel and soon sports seats with sports straps and individual door sills with #AllTheWayAbt lettering are said to be available. We are more than curious when the ABT A1 Widebody will be finished. Incidentally, all videos from the start to the current version can be found at the end of the article. - Free-standing widebody kit (fender flares all around, rear and front changed - aprons (front with sidewings, rear with diffuser), rallycross carbon rear wing, full carbon bonnet with gills, air openings and power domes, side skirt attachments with carbon insert, etc.)
- Conversion to two-door (door handles + door opening removed, darkened Makrolon rear windows, side windows slightly darkened)
- Stainless steel sports exhaust system right and left (round, carbon sheathing, straight pipe)
- ABT 19 inch forged wheels (possibly later with Aeroringen) and Sport Cup2 tires (wider track)
- planned is a complete painting all around (including foiling)
- Motor swap (exchange) - Audi TT Cup engine with boost function and 310 PS to 340 PS & 400 NM (also installed in the S3)
- new intercooler from the Audi S3
- Control unit of the TT Cup
- new water cooler
- An ABT performance increase to approx. 400 PS is planned - Sports seats in the front, rear seats removed, steering wheel exchanged (flattened padded racing steering wheel of the Audi R8 with overboost function), unnecessary panels partially removed, interior with black painted cage and new leather (Alcantara, leather, carbon, red stitching, etc.), black lacquered moldings, individual door sills with #AllTheWayAbt lettering, gear lever with "da" logo)
- Empty weight lower compared to the series
- Sports suspension (adjustable coilover suspension)
- Sport brake system front and rear (front 370mm, 6 pistons, perforated brake discs)
