After the RS7-R is in front of the RS6-R! Or something like that… Anyway, last weekend tuner ABT Sportsline presented the ABT Audi RS6-R (2020), which was released in December last year has announced. Now all that's missing RSQ8-R SUV and the year 2020 can come! And in contrast to the RS7-R, the RS6-R combines the combination of sports car and travel truck even better. It is simply the more practical vehicle that has the same performance none Brings restrictions to the RS7. Due to the optionally available all-wheel steering, which shortens the turning circle and contributes to stabilization at speeds above 100 km / h, the Avant is as sporty as a classic coupe or a performance-oriented sedan.
also limited to 125 vehicles
And traditional tuner ABT Sportsline uses the perfect basis to create exactly 125 Audi RS6-R (as with the RS7) to transform it into a limited special model. The practical station wagon as RS6-R follows the model of the RS7-R mentioned above. And of course, the focus of the Avant was on the so-called Power-R performance increase. Here, too, this enables the 4.0 V8 TFSI to elicit enormous 740 hp (544 kW) and 920 Nm of torque, which means that an increase of 140 hp (103 kW) and 120 Nm compared to the basic version is found in the RS6. And you can hear that too! In addition to the increase in performance, the station wagon also has a stainless steel silencer system with 4 tailpipe trims in carbon. And like the RS7-R, the RS6-R is also a limited special model with many optical refinements.
ABT carbon aerodynamic attachments
In principle, ABT designed the carbon aerodynamic add-on parts of the RS7-R also for the RS6. The front spoiler, carbon grille and small sidewings make the front of the RS6-R much more aggressive and distinctive, and of course there was also a rear apron attachment, the small side skirts and the attached wheel arch vents for the Avant. Our personal highlight are the carbon rear window fins on the right and left as well as the chic two-part roof spoiler. Of course, the RS7-R does not have both due to its design. As expected, the RS6-R is aggressive and does not miss the typical small ABT details such as the carbon trim between the rear lights. And even in the interior, you have not been ripped off. Here, the Allgäu provide 10 components that include a steering wheel refinement made of carbon and leather, illuminated door sills 1 of 125 Lettering and the new leather interior is as usual exclusive with RS6-R lettering. And optionally, an extended interior package with carbon panel covers and seat frame covers as well as further details can be ordered.
weight-optimized 22-inch rims
In addition, there are weight-optimized 22-inch rims of the ABT High Performance HR22 type, which, in contrast to the RS7-R photo vehicle, were not painted in two colors on the exhibition vehicle. This is also possible for the RS6-R, which also receives the ABT HR Aero rims in 22 inches, if desired. And finally, the in-house ABT coilover kit is installed, which with new sports stabilizers further optimizes the excellent driving characteristics of the Ingolstadt and brings a subtle lowering.
