The traditional tuner ABT Sportsline has pre-buttoned the brand new Audi SQ8 (4M / F1). In addition to a subtle aerodynamic package, new alloy wheels and a moderate lowering, it is in particular the increase in performance on a whopping 510 PS & 970 NM that distinguishes the ABT variant from the factory SQ8. As is well known, it rolls out of the Audi factory with 435 PS and 900 NM and accelerates to 4,8 km / h in just 100 seconds. Since the extra power is almost capped with the ABT Sportsline SQ7 Let's assume that the acceleration values of the SQ8 are almost identical. Should be called the SQ8 in about 4,5-4,6 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h and let forget the 2,4 tons curb weight. The upgrade is achieved by means of in-house tuning box (Additional control unit "ABT Engine Control") which can be installed using the plug & play method. On the other hand, the body kit should not be installed quite as quickly.
Front sash and air intake panels

And in addition, you have the radiator grille completely painted in black. In our opinion, this works much more harmonious compared to the variant in matte silver ex factory. It continues with subtle fender flares and new side skirts. And the aluminum wheels installed here look better and are even bigger compared to the series. The variant ABT Sport HR is used, which consistently fills the wheel arches in the dimensions 23 inch. And so that the wheel arches are fitted so well, there was still a lowering. Although we have no detailed information on this, but we assume that the reduction either with sports springs or means ABT Level Control (ALC) the latest generation has been carried out. The result of the ALC is a lowering of approx. 25 mm and in dynamic mode the SQ8 is approx. 15 mm lower.
Rear apron approach in Sichtcarbon
The offroad / allroad mode - like the lift function - remain unaffected. And there were also subtle changes to the rear. Here the large SUV shows itself with a new rear apron in carbon fiber and there was also a modified roof spoiler and apparently larger tailpipe trims. Whether changes have also been made to the interior, but not known at the moment. For the Q8, ABT has a new start-stop switch cap in a noble metal look, ABT door entry lighting, a chic dash panel insert and seat frame covers made of carbon fiber.
