Tuner ABT Sportsline expands its repertoire with another brand. For the first time in the company's history, they are dealing with Lamborghini. Automobili Lamborghini SpA, headquartered in Sant'Agata Bolognese, has been part of Audi AG since 1998 and thus of the Volkswagen Group. Somehow a logical consequence that ABT had to deal with the bull someday. With the Lamborghini Urus Super Sport Utility Vehicle that day has now come and ABT Sportsline is making its debut. For now, the focus was on increasing the performance of the 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine under the hood of the Urus. This already provides 650 PS & 850 Nm torque and accelerates the Urus to 3,6 km / h in just 100 seconds. With the help of the high-tech control unit ABT Engine Control (AEC), the output is now increased to 710 PS (522 kW) and 910 Nm.

A performance increase of 60 PS & 60 NM that ensures that the Italian accelerates to 3,4 km / h in 100 seconds. And the sprint to 200 km / h should improve again. As standard, the SUV needs 12,8 seconds for this and with the ABT performance increase you will probably place yourself in the range of approx. 12 seconds. It is not known at the moment whether ABT is planning further modifications such as an aerodynamic kit, alloy wheels, chassis components or details for the interior.
