As is well known, Audi lifted the fat Q2019 including the SQ7 in 7! There was an even more muscular front, modified headlights, other sill panels and a new rear that now brings a chrome strip to visually connect the rear lights. Also striking are the double slats in the single-frame radiator grille, the exterior mirror caps in aluminum look and the four round chrome-plated tailpipe trims as well as the indicated underride protection at the rear. The changes in the cabin were rather subtle. The facelift now features the new MMI touch controls and the futuristic digital cockpit with a special performance view and a few smaller optical retouches. The well-known VW EA898 diesel engine with register biturbo charger and electric compressor, which generates 435 HP and huge 900 NM torque, still sits under the sheet.

Other highlights include the standard sports air suspension, progressive steering and the optional suspension package Advanced with electromechanical roll stabilization, all-wheel steering and a sport differential. The factory eight-speed automatic and the quattro all-wheel drive ensure a sprint from 0 to 100 km / h in 4,8 seconds and the end is electronically limited to 250. And after tuner ABT Sportsline for the VorFacelift already has an extensive tuning package has laced that even in an limitation variant with Vossen aluminum culminated, the upgrade is now also available for the facelift. And that doesn't just apply to that Performance kit already presented on 510 hp, but now also for the extensive widebody kit. The so-called "ABT Aeropackage wide body" consists of an aggressively drawn front apron attachment, fender flares all around with door attachment strips, a rear apron attachment and a tailpipe set.

510 hp (375 kW) and 970 Nm torque

And if you only want the changes to the aprons, you can alternatively use the "narrow construction" version without fender flares. In view of an SQ7, this designation should be rather unfortunate. The ABT rear wing and the fender inserts made of ABS plastic or carbon fiber are available for both versions. And as already mentioned, the ABT Power performance upgrade is also available for the lifted SQ7. Using the high-tech control unit, the aforementioned 435 hp (320 kW) and 900 Nm are turned into stately 510 hp (375 kW) and 970 Nm torque. And for export vehicles with the factory-installed Active Sound System, the ABT Sound Control System can also be installed for a particularly charismatic vehicle sound. In Germany, such a sound generator is unfortunately no longer allowed.

And regarding the rims, ABT has three designs available for the SQ7. You can choose from the model Sport GR (glossy black & matt black, with diamond-turned elements), the HR Aero (dark smoke with aeroring) or the flowforming high-performance wheel HR-F (shadow silver & dark smoke). And finally, new interior components such as ABT dashboard and seat frame covers with carbon finishing are also available. Plus the well-known ABT start-stop switch cap with an illuminated logo and the ABT door entry lighting.
