The desire for high performance is now being fulfilled on the F22 Coupe by AC Schnitzer. A rich tuning program spices up the small coupe, which has been available since March. Anyone who feels comfortable apart from the "series" should take a closer look at the tuning from AC-Schnitzer. The tuner offers five power levels for the 2 series. The 220i starts with 245PS instead of the standard 184PS.

If you want to be on the road to almost "M" level, you can have the 235i tuned, the 326PS ex works will then be history and another 54PS will move in under the hood. The result is 279 kW / 380 PS. So that the whole thing is also durable, AC Schnitzer installed a new high-performance charge air cooler with the dimensions 520x210x130 mm which offers an 80% larger inflow area and 62% more charge air volume. In this way, the tuner guarantees a lasting and harmonious power delivery of the engine.

For drivers of a diesel model, there are also performance upgrades:

  • 126 kW / 171 PS for the 218d
  • 160 kW / 218 PS for the 220d
  • 190 kW / 258 PS for the 225d

All variants benefit from a significant increase in performance compared to the series.

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
