The TUNE IT! The SAFE campaign has been running since 2005 and the BMW i8, like the last vehicles, should meet the high demands of tuning fans. At the same time, however, it should meet the maximum safety standards and meet the requirements of the approval regulations. And he does! Basically, the i8 was equipped with everything Schnitzer has in store for the hybrid. In addition, of course, there is the unmistakable Securlux foil decor police foil and the "flower box" (Special signaling system "RTK 7" from Hella) on the roof.

Specifically, this means that there was the carbon body kit with front spoiler elements, center front spoiler and the laterally mounted four canards. And even on the fixed carbon rear spoiler, the police vehicle must not do without. Only at second glance, the door handle shells made of carbon, the carbon mirror caps and the carbon kidneys will bring the police typical flash beacons from Hella.

Optical highlight in our opinion but definitely the Schnitzer AC1 Schmiederadsatz which is installed with well-known BiColor optics in the dimensions 8,5 x 21 inches on the front and 9,5 x 21 inches behind. Thanks to its own lowering springs, it sits at the front axle at 25mm and at the rear axle at 20mm lower in the wheel arch. Although the forged rim is larger than the BMW series wheel can je Complete wheel 4,4 kg to save weight. That is remarkable! And in the interior there is a little tuning. Here you can install a set of aluminum paddle shifters and a high quality aluminum pedals.
