The second generation of the M2 is still a few months away from launch. Nevertheless, BMW already has an exciting top model on offer. Of the M240i comes up with 374 hp and 500 Nm. And thanks to an optimization by AC Schnitzer, it becomes an even more serious contender for the smallest "real" M. The Aachen-based BMW specialist has a modification program presented for the second generation G42 of the still young 2-seater coupe. As expected, the focus is on the previous top version or the model with the dynamic M sports package ex works.
Rich increase in performance
The performance boost for the M240i comes with a 3-year guarantee, corresponding certificates and increases the performance of the supercharged 3-liter B58 in-line 6-cylinder to a whopping level 420 hp and 600 Nm. A worthy sound thanks AC Schnitzer sports rear silencer made of stainless steel is also guaranteed. The system ends in two carbon-coated tailpipes on each side. And for interested parties who only care about the looks, AC Schnitzer has individual ones for the four-cylinder 2-series tailpipes in different versions in the range. A special sports suspension for the M240i can be combined with factory adaptive damping to obtain a ride height reduction of up to 25mm, improve appearance and optimize road holding.
The alternatively available one offers the same depth Sport spring package. Previously only available for 6 cylinders, it is now also being developed for the 2-series with four cylinders. Of course, AC Schnitzer can also put the M240i on a new one on request wheelset. You have the choice between the AC1 and AC4 rims, which are manufactured using the flow-forming process. Both available in two different finishes and measure 8,5×20 inches. The tires are 245/30R20 at the front and 255/30R20 at the rear. The AC1 is also optionally available in 8,5×19 inches. In order to perfectly align the wheel with the fender edge, AC Schnitzer also offers 12 mm Spacers on. And in addition to the rims, the portfolio also includes various components for visual customization. The front, for example, is replaced by a Splitter accentuated (suitable for M240i and M Sport package).

The stern can with a Roof spoiler and a two-piece spoiler be upgraded on the trunk lid. All parts should not only offer a sportier look, but also aerodynamic improvements for more downforce. Further accents set a Rear skirt protection film and an optional AC Schnitzer lettering. The highlight of the interior is this Sport steering wheel with rim made of leather-Alcantara, recessed grips and 12 o'clock marking. And as additional details are various aluminum parts available, such as paddle shifters, pedals with footrest up to key holders and covers for the iDrive controller.
