In order to demonstrate the tuning potential of the 2023 Integra, Acura created three different projects, each of which was realized with US tuners and personalities from the US automotive scene. All three concepts include various modifications to the exterior, interior and powertrain to illustrate the possibilities of the Integra. We would now like to introduce these three models to you!
Tracktool by Dai Yoshihara and Evasive Motors!
The first Acura vehicle at this year's SEMA in Las Vegas was built by Evasive Motors, led by Dai Yoshihara. Yoshihara is a professional racing driver from Tokyo who has won various titles in the Japanese Formula Drift and a class win in the legendary Pikes Peak hill climb. This Integra is clearly designed as a track tool and carbon splitters, side skirts, front air intakes and exterior mirror housings come from EVS Tuning. The flared fenders and the fixed rear wing, on the other hand, were designed by Voltex. The vehicle has 18-inch BBS REV7 alloy wheels painted white and shod with Yokohama tires.
The chassis was lowered and variably adjustable coil springs from RSR and various Whiteline components. There was also a larger brake system from Stoptech. Inside, the Acura features an Eimer Engineering roll cage, Sparco Kevlar racing bucket seats, a detachable Sparco racing wheel and an AEM CD-7 screen replacing the stock digital gauges. The interior was also stripped by EVS Tuning. The 1,5-liter turbocharged petrol engine got a new air filter, a CSF intercooler and a new exhaust system from Spoon Sports.
NFS style integra by Sara Choi and Tony Star Performance.
The second Acura Integra was created by Tony Star Performance and Hawaiian racing driver, model and actress Sara Choi. The car's custom body kit includes fins and splitters that add character to the prominent front end. Fender flares at the front and rear, a sporty rear bumper, a wide diffuser and a powerful rear wing turn the rather sober Integra into a real NFS racer. Tein Suspension Flex Z-coil springs allow the Acura to crouch closer to the tarmac for improved handling.
The vehicle also has 19-inch Advan called RSDF, on which Nexen Sport R tires are mounted. The interior of the car was outfitted with Bride Zeta IV sports seats, a custom Battle Craft Hyper shift knob and a Dogfight Race Pro steering wheel. Its turbocharged 1,5 liter engine has been fitted with a new intercooler and a new oil cooler. Both components are from GReddy Performance. In addition, a sports touring cat-back exhaust system found its way to the Japanese, which ensures a sonorous sound.
Darker Acura Integra in Gotham Gray by Coco Zarita and Autotuned.
The third in the group is an Acura, which stands out with its dark and mystical style and paints a completely different picture of an Integra. Created by Autotuned under the supervision of Coco Zarita, a Chilean BMX athlete and amateur drifter, the vehicle features an aggressive-looking carbon aero package. The Acura also features custom graphics designed by artist Andreas Wennevold and black 18-inch alloy wheels named Kansei KNP. The car's body kit also includes a large front splitter, massive side skirts and fender flares. All components are from Auto Tuned, except for the massive carbon rear wing, which comes from APR and goes by the model name GTC.
There are also new brakes from Willwood and RSR Sport-I coil springs. In the cockpit there is a dished and detachable Momo sport steering wheel, six-point harnesses, racing bucket seats and more. The vehicle's powertrain was modified with a GReddy intercooler, a cold air intake system from HPS and an APEXi sports exhaust. A red engine cover from HiRev Sports was also introduced.
