For Honda in 2002 it was the seventh generation of the Accord and the third for Acura (UA6, UA7). For NOT Honda & Acura fans it is not really easy to keep track of the fact that it is basically the same vehicle. In Japan, the TL was sold as the Honda Inspire and there was even a Type S with a 3,5 liter engine and 210 kW (286 hp). And we have just discovered such an Acura TL on the website of the rim label Vossen Wheels and of course we have to show it to you. Only at second glance do you notice the many changes and so there is, for example, a subtle front spoiler that seamlessly connects to the shape of the bumper. In addition, there were subtle side skirts, a spoiler lip in ducktail style and a massive rear diffuser.
The body kit fits in our opinion very well to the lines of the TL and underlines the subtle design of the vehicle. Other changes include new headlights with a completely black inlay, a black grille, wind deflectors on all four doors and of course the new wheelset. These are elegant Vossen VFS-1 aluminum wheels in the dimensions 19 × 10 inches all around which receive just the right attention with their silver paint job. By lowering it is ensured that the wheelset sits optimally in the wheel well and in addition, the TL should also be much more dynamic move.
Much more is due to the little information available to us not to say so that we leave it at the moment in the pictures. However, if we get new details about the changes to the Acura TL, there is of course, as always, an update for this report.
