You can wait and later get the new Dodge RAM Rebel TRX or you can get a current model from the team of American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) remodel. They have set up a completely modified 1500 as "Ram 1500 Recruit" which we really want to show you. The focus was clearly on being as effective as possible away from the paved roads and this should implement this without any problems. In front there was a robust new bumper with massive eyelets, a Warn Zeon 10-S winch, additional lights, an LED light bar and a ram protection and is painted in matt black.
And a new bumper is also installed at the rear, which is just as solid and painted in matt black. The fenders all around got matt black attachments which also serve as a widening and should protect against scratches and dents. And a new bonnet is also installed. It has a central power dome and large ventilation openings on the right and left. A highlight of the side of the RAM are definitely the electrically extendable steps, which are also sorely needed thanks to the new chassis setup.
The RAM got a new suspension with shock absorbers from Bilstein and was whopping 4 inches higher. In addition, there was a set of special off-road alloy wheels that combined with huge off-road BFGoodrich KM2 tires for tireless traction in the field. So that the RAM also does not have to be afraid of waters, there was still a suction snorkel placed upwards and against damage to the underbody provides a robust underrun protection. The cargo area is also protected by a mighty tubular frame that can be equipped with a tarpaulin and thus provides a closed cargo area.
In addition, the RAM also has a fully-fledged spare wheel just in case. With this vehicle, you should have exactly the right vehicle for any kind of expedition and an obvious reason should be on the new Rebel TRX We certainly do not see that we have to wait for the conversion.
