Airride & 20 inch M632 Alu's on the Chevrolet Camaro 1LE

A Chevrolet Camaro 1LE could hardly look more evil & grim than this one that was posted yesterday on the website of the rim label Avant Garde Wheels was posted! Actually everything about the Camaro is quickly explained by pointing out that a new wheel set and an Airride air suspension have been installed, but we took a closer look at the Chevy and we noticed a lot more changes. Incidentally, it is a facelift model (from 2013) which can be seen from the changed headlights at the front and rear. In September 2013, the revamped version of the Camaro was presented at the then IAA in Frankfurt. However, the FL has been available to buy in the USA since the middle of the same year. In addition to the headlights, the rest of the front section has also been redesigned; the lower air intake, for example, is slightly higher and wider than that of the pre-facelift model. The grille has also been changed and is now narrower. The most noticeable change at the rear are the new taillights. Here the split tail lights of the VFL variant have been replaced by horizontal ones.

The trunk lid has also been modified a bit and a new diffuser has been integrated into the bumper. The highlight, however, was the new Camaro Z / 28, which surprisingly turned out to be a little weaker (377 kW / 513 PS), but also significantly lighter (−130 kg). The Z / 28 manages a lap on the Nordschleife in just 7: 37,47 minutes, and that in the rain! So much for the history of the facelift model ... This pitch black Camaro LT / RS Coupé, which is used, for example, in the fourth season of the Hawaii Five-4 TV series, is just such a lifted variant, here of course in its original condition. The 0LE from is anything but original Vlad Shurigin especially noticeable by its extreme lowering. That one achieves such a brutal draft only by Airride air suspension should be clear and so it is no wonder that one for one AccuAir system Has decided. But what would a lowering without a new set of alloy wheels? An Avant Garde Wheels M632 wheel set in 20 inch is used which of course contributes a large part to the dark appearance with its satin black surface. But the TOYO Extensa tires with their eye-catching lettering in white are not entirely innocent. What we recently had on the Widebody BMW 135i or even that Revozport M2 Seen works well on the Chevy.

The tire lettering simply creates an even sportier impression, and more and more vehicles can be seen with it. An absolute highlight, however, is a rather small detail that can be found in the front headlights. Here the xenon lenses are noticeably red, which ensures a distinctive style and is typically American. You should try to drive up to the German TÜV 😂 A little aerodynamic hand was also applied and so a body kit was built that consists of a subtle front spoiler, side skirts and a modified diffuser. The rear spoiler also seems to have been changed because the series component of the 1LE is actually a bit flatter. Another change is the cover of the rear window which gives the rear even more sportiness. And a sports exhaust system is certainly also installed, but unfortunately we currently have no information on this. The Camaro is rounded off by dark side markings at the front and rear, as are typical of American vehicles. If we get more information about the modifications to the Chevy Camaro, there is of course, as always, an update for this report.
