Video: Akrapovic titanium plant at the BMW M2 Competition

On the YouTube channel of BMWBLOG there was an interesting video to see the days. A BMW M2 Competition Coupe (F87) that has received a prototype of an Akrapovic sports exhaust system made of titanium. Specifically, it is the so-called "linkpipe" titanium prototype that was installed as a replacement for the middle silencer and the OPF particle filter for gasoline engines. The EC-tested prototype of the Slip-On Line titanium system is installed in combination with the original M-Performance system and provides a tremendous soundscape. BMWBLOG even claims that this combination is louder than a complete Akrapovic Titanium Evolution Line rig for the M3 / M4.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
