Alfa Romeo 164 QV Restomod with carbon body kit!

It's been a long time since the traditional Italian brand Alfa Romeo vied for buyers in the upper middle class. The last upper-class model of the Milanese was the Alfa 166, which fought more or less unsuccessfully against the German supremacy in the premium segment at the beginning of the new millennium. Since then, many Alfisti have been waiting for a large sedan with a sporty look, which will be placed above the popular Giulia to make Alfa a veritable competitor for BMW and Mercedes-Benz. But there is reason for hope, because the Stellantis group, which also owns Alfa Romeo, has announced that Alfa will expand its product portfolio in the coming years. Until then, however, we will sweeten your waiting time with one Restomod project of the legendary Alfa Romeo 164, probably the most successful luxury sedan from Italy, which unfortunately is rarely found today. In addition, the model was the last independently developed vehicle by the Italians before they were taken over by the then Fiat group, which now operates under the name Stellantis.

Project Vehicle by BTS Creativity!

The vehicle is a one-off, which serves as a test balloon for future Restomod projects was presented at the Expo Tuning 2020 in Turin, Italy. Back then, the 164 even won the prize for the best concept at the entire fair. The parent vehicle was a barn find discovered on an Italian farm. The abandoned and run down Alfa 164QV became bit by bit again aufgebaut, and complete both outside and inside restauriert.

One decided at BTS Creativity for that, the original OEM body kit of the special Alfa carbon fibers recreate to obtain a bicolor look that thanks to the Repainting in the classic Alfa colour Rosso Competizione, comes into its own. Other highlights are the heavily toned ones headlights as well as the yellow ones fog lights, which would probably not receive the blessing of TÜV in this country. There is also a one-off Scudetto grill in carbon look. Of course, classic ones are allowed too Alfa Romeo rims not absent from the dial design commonly found on the brand's sporty GTA models.

The Alus from the manufacturer BTS Forged are installed in 18-inch format, which is exactly the right size to look elegant and not exaggerated. Moreover, the vehicle with a Custom lowering kit equipped with the help of Lowering springs pushes the car closer to the ground. In addition, the Alfa 164 QV Restomod has one Brembo brakes with red brake calipers and Alfa Romeo lettering, which sets an example both with its appearance and with its ability to bring the sedan to a standstill safely.

The interior is reminiscent of Ferrari!

Im Interior became the old ones Sports Seats barn find redesigned and reshaped to be more comfortable and longer haul capable. Furthermore, the chairs were covered with light brown Leather and Alcantara, to create a reminiscence of the legendary Ferrari sports car brand. And they are also wrapped in Alcantara Instrument panel, the center console and the door panels. The noble finish comes from the pen of La Selleria, an Italian refinement specialist with a great reputation. The Sport steering wheel with a wooden rim, which is also installed, fits seamlessly into the luxury cabin.

A 2-liter turbo petrol engine drives the Restomod!

A 3-liter six-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine originally did its job in the donor vehicle. However, this had been removed long before the conversion and therefore the specialists from BTS Creativity transplanted it Two-liter turbo heart into the Restomod project. The engine performs 207 hp and 306 Newton meters of maximum torque, making the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in very respectable 7,2 seconds should succeed. The top speed should 243 kilometers per hour amount, and is switched with a Five-speed manual switchwho the power to the Front wheels transmits.
