Since Alfa his new top model Alfa Romeo Giulia QV (952) Last year, the Italians are on a par with BMW M3, Audi RS4 or Mercedes C63 AMG! Last week you posted a photo that was a 2.9 V6 QV with fabulous 612PS / 750Nm Torque shows! Compared to the BR performance variant, that is 91 PS & 27 NM more which is a real announcement. Of course you have to mention that the Quadrifoglio from BR only delivered measured 460PS at the time, which of course was anything but an optimal starting point. That was apparently not the case with the OV from Pogea and so we can assume that the promised 510 PS & 600 NM torque were definitely available ex works. So far, we are not aware of any information about the specific changes, but it seems that with an optimal starting point, the significant performance jump can only be achieved using chip tuning.
Pogea points out in his posting that they want to test the vehicle at least 10.000 km to make sure everything works as it should. At the same time, it was mentioned that this performance is the absolute limit with the standard hardware, but this posting also contains an indication that the tuner is working on an increase in performance to up to 700 PS because the hashtag "700pssoon“Is probably more than clear. But already with 612PS / 750Nm torque the Italian delivers 181PS & 200NM more than a standard BMW M3 / M4 and should even heat up the brand new Mercedes-AMG E63 S 4MATIC +. If we get more information about the modifications to the QV, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
