Surprisingly for us, the alpha motor corporation announced that it was taking initial reservations for an all-new model. And what is surprising is the fact that this time the vehicle is not an off-roader and we have never heard of it. The "Montage Coupé" is a kind of modern interpretation of classic British sports cars from the 50s. It seems to be aimed at a mix of Bentley S1 Coupé and Morgan Plus Four away. However, the prices for the strictly limited model with a retro look only start at a hefty 499.000 US dollars and can go even further depending on special requests. According to Alpha, the Montage Coupé can be equipped with another optional drive unit (plus the well-known e-drives from Alpha Saga, SuperWolf etc.) with 204 hp (150 kilowatts) and 3.335 (!!!) Newton meters of torque.

The power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a single-speed gearbox with a gear ratio of 9,53. With regard to the torque, the exorbitant values should not correspond to the engine power, but are due to the multiplication by the transmission and the wheels. So it will be the torque that the tires will ultimately put on the road. This value is always higher than the torque output from the engine.
Unfortunately, the battery capacity or the charging capacity is not clear so far. According to Alpha, it's a custom-built lithium-ion package that gives it an estimated range of 250 miles (about 402 km). In general, it is difficult to get an idea of the vehicle based on the renderings. According to Alpha Motors, the coupe is 4,40 meters long, 1,85 meters wide and 1,38 meters high. In principle, this corresponds to the dimensions of the current Toyota Supra, apart from the fact that the Supra is approx. 9 cm flatter.

Incidentally, there is space under the hood and in the trunk for maximum storage space. The cabin of the Montage should offer space for two people and is shown with one instrument cluster in a retro look with large, analogue dials and chrome strips. And in the center console there are large air vents with even more chrome and a classic radio. Also modern details like a digital speedometer and a digital Sound system are installed.
