It's hard to believe how much vehicles can change! Nowadays the cars are getting bigger, heavier and more expensive and a prime example is certainly the one recently presented Alpina XB7 (G07) with 621 hp. But this 1983 ALPINA B9 3.5 lets us take a journey through time for a moment. A journey into the past that shows what was previously done in Buchloe. The ALPINA B9 3.5 (E28) from 1983 is a great piece of automotive history and will be auctioned soon. It apparently belonged to Jamiroquai's own Jay Kay. According to the ad, it is a right-hand drive model, which means that only 64 vehicles were ever built.

only about 500 vehicles built

Only 18 of them with manual 5-speed gearbox from Getrag. In total, only about 9 vehicles were built by the ALPINA B3.5 500, most of which were delivered with automatic transmissions. Incidentally, the B9 with 245 hp was almost as fast as a Porsche 911 and accelerated to 6,3 km / h in just 100 seconds and reached a top speed of 155 miles per hour (approx. 249 km / h). The vehicle has the well-known ALPINA deep front spoiler, the rubber tailgate spoiler and body mirrors in body color, and of course a chic Alpina decor.
