A modified 1972er spear from AMC was presented at the 2107er SEMA. The turbocharged muscle car was delivered at the time with considerable 707 horsepower. A racy line and lush motorization characterized the production vehicle in series production. The small series included only 3220 copies of the muscle car. The factory-lowered body and the compact look of the massive grille combine cult status with the powerful engine and sporty lines right from the start. The exhibition model for the SEMA was modified by the Ringbrothers on request of Vorstein, because the tuners highly appreciated the model since their childhood.

Within 12 months, 1972er Speer has been modified by AMC. The complex modifications required, among other things, that electronic components, such as cable connections and plugs were rebuilt with the 3D printer. For this reason, experts and the tuners consider the construction period as short-term. The turbocharger for the 6,2 liter V8 engine has been replaced by a Whipple high-capacity supercharger, with the new turbocharger boosting performance to 1.100 PS. The front fenders, bonnet and grille have been replaced with custom carbon fiber components.

Ringbrothers call the yellow paint color Jalop Gold - a high-gloss yellow paint with metallic optical effects. The varnish is preferred for coloring carbon parts. The 4-contact rear suspension was replaced by a 12-bolt axle and the braking system was completely modernized. Exhaust outlets on the side in front of the rear wheels complete the tuned model. Stylish chrome details on the indicators and headlights, wide tires and wire rims made the tuned 1972 spear from AMC a magnet for trade fair visitors.

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
