Mercedes-AMG GT 63 SE Performance "F1 EDITION"!

Thanks to a technology transfer from Formula 63™, the Mercedes-AMG GT 1 SE PERFORMANCE is still the most powerful production model from the brand from Affalterbach. The innovative hybrid concept with electric motor and AMG high-performance battery on the rear axle combines superior system performance of 620 kW (843 hp) with impressive driving dynamics and high efficiency. With this special model, Mercedes-AMG reinforces its close connection to the F1 team and equips the "F1 Edition" with exclusive exterior and interior features. The "F1 Edition" is now available at an additional cost of 23.800,00 euros ordered.

"F1 EDITION"

On the occasion of 55 years of AMG, the performance and sports car brand not only proudly looks back on the successful past, but also celebrates the present with the "Edition 55" models. With the special model "F1 Edition", Mercedes-AMG is now making the electrified future even more visible. Thanks to the technology transfer from Formula 1™, the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 SE PERFORMANCE is the perfect ambassador for the future of driving performance. The modular E PERFORMANCE hybrid powertrain will soon also be available in other Mercedes-AMG models. The transformation to purely electric drives, with AMG derivatives based on the EVA2 platform and future completely independent AMG models based on AMG.EA will be at least as exciting as the past 55 years.

recognizable by the paintwork

The "F1 Edition" can be recognized at first glance by the paintwork. It is an exclusive combination of the paintwork in MANUFAKTUR Alpinggrau uni and the foiling with the AMG logo and color gradient from gray to black as well as the red color accents. The 21-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke forged wheels, painted matt black with a red rim flange, follow the color scheme of the wheels of the Official FIA F1 Medical Car™ from Mercedes-AMG. The AMG aerodynamics package developed in the wind tunnel improves handling at high speeds and lays the foundation for even more driving performance. The attachments increase the contact pressure and at the same time reduce the air resistance. The fixed rear wing is a clear statement of the desire for uncompromising performance. The AMG aerodynamic package includes:

  • fixed rear wing in high-gloss black
  • further optimized diffuser, integrated in the rear apron
  • Extensively optimized front apron with a larger front splitter and additional air deflectors on the air intakes and the front wheel arches
  • Guide elements on the side air outlets of the rear fenders.

The AMG Night package exterior and the AMG Night package II also reinforce the dynamic appearance of the "F1 Edition". The front splitter and decorative elements in the front fenders, exterior mirror housings, waistline trim strips and window surrounds are in high-gloss black. In addition, there is the trim strip in the rear apron, twin tailpipe covers of the AMG exhaust system in black chrome and heat-insulating dark-tinted glass. The darkened AMG-specific radiator grille and the type designation on the boot lid and fenders in black chrome complete the exclusive appearance. And the new AMG tank cap in silver chrome with "AMG" lettering creates an attractive contrast.

inside with contrast in black and red

As with the "Edition 55" models for the G-Class, A-Class and CLA, the interior is characterized by the contrasting black and red. The AMG performance seats with Exclusive nappa leather upholstery in black with red topstitching follow this sporty look, as do the seat belts in red and the exclusive AMG carbon-fibre trim with a red thread. The AMG Performance steering wheel in nappa leather / DINAMICA microfibre with red topstitching and the AMG door sill panels with "AMG" lettering illuminated in red go perfectly with this. The conclusion is the exclusive Edition badge in the interior and specific AMG floor mats. To protect the valuable vehicle, each customer also receives a tailor-made AMG indoor car cover with the F1 logo. With its breathable outer skin made of tear-resistant synthetic fiber fabric and the anti-static inner fabric made of flannel, it protects the vehicle from dust and scratches in the garage.
